Dom Tower, Utrecht – Standing tall at 112 meters, the Dom Tower is the pride and symbol of Utrecht, as well as the tallest church tower in the Netherlands. Built in the 14th century, it once formed part of the grand St. Martin’s Cathedral, which was never fully completed and later partly collapsed, leaving the tower separated from the nave. Today, visitors can climb its 465 steps to enjoy breathtaking views over Utrecht’s canals, rooftops, and on clear days even as far as Amsterdam. With its Gothic beauty and rich history, the Dom Tower remains a beacon of the city’s spirit and resilience.
